Winter can be gray and gloomy but don’t let that get you down. There are many fun indoor activities that can keep you active and provide entertainment during those cold winter months!
The recently opened Surf Arena is located near the Letňany metro stop in Prague 18. The arena offers Prague’s first surfing simulator and welcomes surfers of all levels. Beginners can take regular lessons until they are surfing like pros! The opening hours are 12:00 – 20:00 Tuesdays – Thursdays, 12:00 – 21:00 on Fridays, 10:00 – 21:00 on Saturday and 10:00 – 20:00 on Sundays. For more information, please visit their website (CZ/EN).
Escape rooms are games where a team of people are “locked” in a room and they need to find and solve clues to save the world! There is a limited amount of time and the staff can offer hints through a walkie-talkie. There are many different escape rooms available in Prague and they offer unique sets, story lines and challenges. It’s basically like being in a real life video game! You can make reservations and find out more, visit the official website (CZ/EN).
Indoor Wall Climbing
Winter tends to make us lazy, so why not liven things up with a climb? Climbing is a great way to face your fear of heights and work all your muscles (even those you never knew existed!) There are many great climbing walls in Prague to choose from, take a look at the list of outdoor and indoor wall-climbing gyms here. Don’t forget that it’s a Czech tradition to have a beer (or two) after a successful wall-climbing session.
